Bristol Temple Quarter LLP has joined forces with the West of England Combined Authority, Bristol City Council, the University of Bristol, Alliance Housing and several other organisations to deliver £1.2 million to communities across Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire, through Sirona’s new Community Wellbeing and Health Fund.

Over the past few years, the masterplan has evolved through extensive engagement with local communities, businesses, landowners, public sector partners and community organisations. Thousands of comments, conversations and responses have helped inform the final document. 

This month we talked to Claudette Forbes, Non-Executive Director at Bristol Temple Quarter. We learned more about her journey to work in regeneration, her thoughts on the future of BTQ, and why she wanted to get involved in the project. 

The long-term vision for the transformation of St Philip’s Marsh has taken a significant step forward, with the masterplan for the area formally adopted by Bristol City Council following approval from the Economy & Skills Committee.
