The company behind the Bristol Temple Quarter regeneration, Bristol Temple Quarter Limited Liability Partnership (BTQ LLP) is bringing together residents, businesses, community organisations and employers for a week-long programme of free events designed to showcase how regeneration can deliver lasting benefits for local people.

Taking place from 15 – 19 June, the Inclusive and Sustainable Growth Celebration Week will showcase a range of opportunities that support inclusive employment, skills development, business growth and community cohesion and resilience.

Activities include a multi-agency careers fair (being delivered in partnership with the University of Bristol Temple Quarter Enterprise Campus team), a CV and interview skills masterclass with the Department for Work and Pensions, a multi-agency advice drop-in event for VCSE organisations, and a women-only session with The Women’s Work Lab, Smart Works Bristol and Skills Connect, highlighting support and pathways into employment.

As one of the UK’s most ambitious regeneration programmes, Bristol Temple Quarter is committed not only to delivering new homes, jobs and infrastructure, but also to ensuring that economic, social and environmental benefits are shared across communities throughout Bristol.

The Celebration Week programme reflects this commitment, offering practical support and opportunities for people at different stages of their personal and professional journeys.

Jane Vivian, Director of Inclusive and Sustainable Growth at Bristol Temple Quarter LLP, said:

‘Inclusive and sustainable growth is at the heart of everything we do.

As Bristol Temple Quarter continues to take shape, we want local communities to benefit from the opportunities regeneration can create, whether that’s finding a job (including at the new University campus), developing new skills, taking part in community activities or accessing support and advice.

This celebration week showcases the power of partnership and demonstrates our commitment to ensuring that the benefits of regeneration are accessible to everyone.

We would like to thank all the organisations who have signed the BTQ Charter and pledged support towards the delivery of inclusive and sustainable growth at BTQ.  This celebration week is an excellent example of what can be achieved through strong partnership and collaboration.’

BTQ LLP hope the week will demonstrate how collaboration between public, private and community sectors can help ensure regeneration delivers meaningful and lasting opportunities for people across Bristol.

All events are free to attend, with a mixture of bookable sessions and drop-in opportunities available throughout the week.
