We’re 8 weeks in to the demolition of the former sorting office on Cattle Market Road and what a difference to the Bristol skyline already!

The removal of this eyesore building marks a significant milestone in the regeneration of Bristol’s Temple Quarter district.

The council’s contractors are demolishing the derelict sorting office to make way for the new University of Bristol Enterprise Campus, planned to open in 2022.

In the coming weeks work will be moving to the far end of the site that borders the railway.

After the demolition phase there will be further works needed to prepare the site. The area will become home to the University of Bristol’s new Enterprise Campus, planned to open in 2022.
