Circomedia is an internationally respected centre of excellence for circus arts and physical theatre. They provide a range of training opportunities that fully integrate contemporary circus, physical performance, creative thinking and career development in both full time and part time courses. Circomedia are also dedicated to programming an eclectic and innovative variety of work at their grade 2 listed venue, St Paul’s Church, in the heart of Bristol.
Circomedias aim is to engage a variety of different audiences, artists, students, professionals and communities with circus arts and physical theatre in an inspiring and accessible way. They have an ambitious development plan for the next few years that includes a new fit for purpose centre for their work. Circomedia are a National Portfolio Organisation for Arts Council England and a Key Arts Provider for Bristol City Council. Their current Chair, Mike Taylor, is stepping down and Circomedia are looking to recruit his successor.
