Temple Quarter Enterprise Zone

Temple Quarter is a key employment zone with clusters in financial and legal services, creative industries and digital technology.  Businesses locating here enjoy productivity benefits through clustering, access to the West of England’s strong skills base and the excellent connectivity on offer, with a prime location next to Bristol Temple Meads railway station and within a short walk of Bristol’s city centre.

Businesses already located here include PwC, Bank of Ireland, Arcadis, Nat West Accelerator, SETSquared University Business Incubator, Micrima and UltraLeap.  Over 4000 jobs have located in the area since it was designated an Enterprise Zone by Government in 2012.

Major investment is being made to further strengthen the benefits the area brings to business.  Nearly £100m of government funding will transform Bristol Temple Meads and the area around it, enabling millions more journeys to and from the station, while three new entrances will improve access to the station from across the city.

The University of Bristol’s new Temple Quarter Enterprise Campus, on land adjacent to the station, will bring new skills and opportunities to Temple Quarter, supporting the wider focus on knowledge and innovation across the regeneration area. The university aims to complete the Enterprise Campus in 2026.
