How long have you been going?

Talk in the Bay was established over 5 years ago by co-founders Allyson Edmunds and Mandy Walsh.  Talk in the Bay, originally started in Cardiff and at the beginning of July this year, a second Talk in the Bay office was opened in the Temple Quay location of Bristol.

Laura Gregory is the Owner of Talk in the Bay in Bristol and is the Associate Partner of co-founders Allyson Edmunds and Mandy Walsh.

Why did you decide to set this business up?

Talk in the Bay in Bristol was set up following the huge success and demand for Talk in the Bay’s services in Cardiff.  Laura Gregory is passionate about Counselling and Psychotherapy and wanted to bring Talk in the Bay’s high quality and professional services to Bristol.

What is the business?

At Talk in the Bay ( we are a team of Counsellors and Psychotherapists who provide Counselling, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Psychotherapy services to businesses, individuals, couples and young people.

Talk in The Bay is also passionate about making Counselling more accessible so we offer an affordable counselling service

Talk in the Bay is also able to deliver a wide variety of be-spoke training workshops to businesses and organisations.

The company is called Talk in the Bay  because the Cardiff Office is located in the Bay area of Cardiff.

How many people are there in your business?

We a currently a team of 5 Counsellors and Psychotherapists in the Bristol office of Talk in the Bay.  We each have areas in which we specialise and between us have a diverse range of backgrounds and skills.

Why have you chosen to relocate to Bristol Temple Quarter Enterprise Zone?

We felt that the Bristol Temple Quarter Enterprise Zone is an up and coming vibrant area with excellent transport links, which would provide ease of access for those wanting to access our services.

What do you want to see happening in Bristol Temple Quarter Enterprise Zone?

We would like to see the area grow with a diverse range of businesses and organisations.
