A new scheme from bmi regional, Engine Shed and UK Trade & Investment (UKTI) is giving new businesses in the South West a chance to win return flights to Europe to boost their international profile.

How does it work?

Each month, up to three businesses from the Bristol and Bath area will win return flights from Bristol to one of bmi regional’s European destinations: Paris, Aberdeen, Milan, Frankfurt, Munich, Hamburg and Dusseldorf. The scheme is aimed at young enterprises who want to expand into new UK and European markets and for whom face to face access to those markets would be a real bonus. The flights on offer are scheduled at optimised times for business travellers.

Winners will also benefit from a one hour consultation with an expert UKTI coach to provide invaluable advice about business growth.

Who can enter?

The scheme is open to any local business that has been trading less than five years and which has a turnover of less than £500k per annum.

How can I enter?

All a business needs to do to win the flights is to describe in less than 500 words who they are, where they want to go and what they hope to achieve by going there. Applications are open now, with the competition for March closing on 1st April.  Applications need to be submitted online.
