90 Second Film Challenge: Bristol Temple Quarter

May 2, 2012 @ 5:30 pm - 7:00 pm

90 second film

This week Watershed launches the 90 Second Film Challenge!

This fun and free opportunity is open to any business in Bristol’s Temple Quarter, regardless of their experience with the camera. Teams can either make a film on their own, get a little bit of help at one of our surgeries, or win the chance to work with a professional filmmaker.  The finished films will be showcased throughout Watershed and a selection of the entries will also be screened as part of Encounters International Film Festival at a pop-up cinema in BTQEZ in September. The deadline for submissions is the 20th July so there is plenty of time to get involved. To find out more people can come to one of our drop in sessions on Wed 18 April, Wed 2 May or Wed 16 May at Watershed from 17:30 – 19:00 or visit:

There are three ways you can get involved:

1. Do it yourself: simply upload your finished film to the website 2. Get a little bit of help: come to one of our free evening surgeries where you can get advice on your ideas and all aspects of filmmaking straight from the experts.

3. Win a chance to get a professional filmmaker to work with you from script to screen: submit your idea before Fri 18 May.
